Feeding Instructions

As each dog is unique, feeding amounts will vary. Use this chart as an initial guide and adjust accordingly to achieve your dog’s ideal body weight. Always provide fresh clean water.

**Puppies:** from 1 1/2 to 3 months old feed 2 times the recommended adult amount, from 3 to 6 months feed 1 1/2 times the adult amount, and from 6 to 11 months feed 1 1/4 times the adult amount.

**Gestation:** increase the recommended adult amount by 25 to 50%.

**Lactation:** feed free choice.

Transition Instructions
When transitioning to a new pet food, do so slowly over a period of about 7-10 days, mixing an increasing amount of new food with old food each day: Start with 75% old food mixed with 25% new food for approximately three days. Then mix 50% old with 50% new for approximately three days.
